How can another row be added to an income statement?

 If you add income or expense accounts to your chart of accounts, you may need to modify your income statement to include the account number using the Line Description:

  1. Open the income statement in Design mode

Highlight the income statement from the Financial Statements report list

Select Design

  1. Highlight the Line Description button (it is a gray rectangle) where you want to add the row
  2. Select Line from the left side of the screen

Peachtree will open the Line Description dialog box

            Complete the information to add the row to the income statement (i.e., account range,

account types, formatting options)

  1. Click OK
  2. Select SAVE to save your changes to the income statement
